I remember listening to similar information when completing my first aid certificate but it was useful to get a refresher course. I learnt Like most people, I am familiar with the term asthma and I know that it affects many people. However, I had never stopped and thought about what causes it and what happens to the respiratory system during an asthma attack. I learnt that asthma is essentially the inflammation of the airways due to hypersensitivity. Week 3: HPE for you                                                           14-03-2017      Overview  Today we had a speaker from Move Well Eat Well join us and we discussed the main elements of the resource. I had briefly heard of Move Well Eat Well before, but it was eye-opening having somebody with knowledge and passion taking us through the key points and suggesting to us how to utilize the program.   I learnt I learnt that Move Well Eat Well aims to encourage students to drink water, take fruit and vegetables to school, limit unhealthy foods, play often, turn off devices, walk and ride when the opportunity strikes and promote good health (Department of Health and Human Services, n.d). Introduction –ok to use or modify    Why an ePortfolio? The idea of using a portfolio is to showcase the information that you have learnt during your studies in ESH340 - Advanced Health and Physical Education. It is - as Wolf (as cited in Brady, 2001, p. 26) - a "depository of artefacts' that 'require a written reflection by the developer on the significance or contribution of those artefacts".
